My favorite face serum of the year - and the one that started Blueprint Botanicals (formerly known as Be Brilliant). This is a velvety, soft facial serum crafted with the holy grail of botanicals, aka the "skin knitter" - calendula. This season we are featuring the most gorgeous calendula flowers, grown by Suncatcher Farms in Sonoma County, infused into the most decadant California olive oil and sweet almond oil.  These beautiful ingredients come together in a way that is soothing, restorative, yet feels decadent and luxurious, leaving your skin silky and soft.

This Season’s Blend

• Whole Calendula Flowers– Sourced from Suncatcher Farms in Sonoma County, these joyful flowers are known for their skin-soothing and restorative powers. Calendula helps calm irritation, reduce redness, and support the skin’s natural ability to repair itself. Rich in antioxidants and plant compounds, it promotes resilience and imparts a subtle glow, making it especially supportive for sensitive or stressed skin. It's my #1 favorite skincare ingredient.
  
  

• California Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Locally grown and cold-pressed, this is a deep, decadent olive oil that is naturally high in essential fatty acids. It delivers deep hydration, improves skin elasticity, and provides a protective barrier against environmental stress. Its velvety texture absorbs smoothly without feeling heavy, leaving skin soft and nourished. 

• Sweet Almond Oil– A gentle, nourishing oil full of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals. Almond oil has been used for centuries as a skin care staple due to its lightweight texture and ability to help the skin hold on to moisture. In this blend, it has a soft, comfortable feel and helps carry the properties of the infused calendula flowers.
  
  

• Optional: Aromatics  – Available with or without a delicate addition of carefully sourced essential oils:

  • • Rose Absolute (Trilogy) – A rare and precious floral oil blending Moroccan, Bulgarian, and Turkish roses. Luxurious, grounding, and deeply supportive both emotionally and physically.

    • Organic Neroli (Orange Blossom) – Bright, floral-citrus, and uplifting. Neroli helps promote relaxation and balance while supporting skin clarity and balance.

    • Unscented - Free from added essential oils, but naturally carries the subtle aroma of its ingredients - the golden infusion of whole calendula flowers, California olive oil, and almond oil. 

How to Use

Gently massage into clean, damp skin on face and neck. Use daily, morning or evening, to lock in hydration, restore balance, support barrier health, and support your natural glow.
